Norway, December 2025; TITANRob is pleased to announce that Norwegian ROV manufacturer Ocein AS has acquired one of our titanium manipulators to be integrated into its A-ROV, a compact yet powerful remotely operated vehicle built for demanding subsea and aquaculture operations.
Based in Kristiansund and Trondheim, Ocein is known for high-quality underwater technology where power and reliability come in a compact package. Their A-ROV delivers offshore-class performance in a smaller footprint, with a 30 kW power supply, depth ratings up to 1000 metres, and the flexibility to carry a wide range of add-on equipment, including manipulators, for tasks such as inspections and handling objects below the surface. The addition of a TITANRob G501 titanium grabber — a 5-function manipulator offering 900 mm reach and a 100 kg lift capacity — brings the strength, corrosion resistance and lightweight advantages of titanium to this versatile platform.
