Norway, September 2021; DeepOcean has fitted a TITANRob titanium M700 manipulator on one of the ROVs aboard the Edda Flora, adding titanium strength and precision to one of the vessels in the fleet of a leading global provider of subsea services.
A well-known name in the offshore industry, DeepOcean operates the Edda Flora for inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and survey work. In operation since 2008 and since upgraded into an environmentally friendly battery-hybrid vessel, the Edda Flora carries observation and work-class ROVs for demanding subsea campaigns. Adding the M700 — our 7-function titanium manipulator, with 1235 mm reach, a 50 kg lift capacity and a 3000 m depth rating — brings the low weight, corrosion resistance and improved mechanical performance of titanium to the vessel’s ROV spread, supplied through our sales partner Envirex.
When a manipulator is chosen for demanding IMR and survey work aboard a vessel like the Edda Flora, it’s because it earns its place through performance — and that’s exactly where our titanium arms are built to deliver, day after day, on the projects that keep the subsea sector moving.
